twelve tribes fast asleep once the greatest nation
genocide is homicide of a generation.

Simeon and Levi. Dominican and Haitian,
three true brothers of the same nation.

robed of heritage now nobody knows.
Zebulon the fifth of Pan-American shores,
they took his keys and locked his doors.
Ishtar the sixth of Mexico,
he is a man of color, his pyramids show.
the seventh brother, the tribe of Gad.
the paleface took what this Indian had.
Asher was the father of Brazil,
his bread was fat and so was his will.
Naphtali, the brother Argentine,
his presence was dark and his body was lean.
Ephraim and Manasseh, grandsons of Jacob.
Puerto Rico and Cuba, no one could breakup.
in the West Indies, the twelfth brother Benjamin,
you know he was a brother so you know he’s a friend.
these twelve tribes, sons of Jacob
